My boring Weekend.
During my weekend I didn’t do much but on Saturday I had to watch my sister fly a plane! She flew over to Whatuwhiwhi (That is where I’m from. ) And my family was so proud of her but also my sister asked me if I was proud of her too like she wanted all the attention but I didn’t know what to say so I mumbled: “what will you do if I said No?” then she replied with “Then I’ll slap you in the head!” I got scared and ran out of our room.
On Sunday I slept in and it felt great but once I got up I walked into the lounge and slowly sat on the couch my brother and my little cousin Aidan were wide awake, My brother slowly turned around and got a fright from me I started to laugh but then Aidan asked Jacob if we can play Minecraft and then we played Minecraft all day.
At Kapa Haka!
Today after lunch Daya and I got to open up the rugby clubs for Kapa Haka, The alarm started to go off at first it was quiet but not even 3 minutes later the alarm got louder! I ran out because it was hurting my ears obviously, But I managed to turn it off. After turning the alarm off me and Daya went to sit down then everyone came over, Whaea Emma was telling us that Whaea Te Rina had her BABY!!!
Anyways we got into it and I found out that we were learning Purea Nei!
Cross Country
On Tuesday I had Cross Country at Pukepoto school and Matua Zion was there to cheer for all of Ahipara school! Mana and I waited for continuous hours my aunty and father were there but once my brother’s race finished they both left I was very sad but once I heard 12-year-old girls I sprinted over to the man who yelled those words. On my last lap Mana, Matteo, and Callum came to the fence and ran with me to the finish line once I got to the finish line I was in shock because I came THIRD!!! I am now going to Peria school for the finals.
My dental appointment.
This morning I stayed at home for a little while because I was going to the dentist and the last time I went to the dentist was when they went around to all the different schools. I and my dad finally arrived at the hospital and my heart was pounding I entered through the front doors and sat down I waited for like around ten minutes and when they called my name I got panicking I sat on the chair and one of the ladies took my X-ray and my teeth were aching because I had to bite down on this yellow thing and after my appointment I went to school.
The best field trip I’ve been on!
My best field trip was not too long ago, it was just three days ago and I went to Auckland for my Tournament we stayed at two hotels and the last hotel was the best hotel! On day two of my field trip and also the day of my tournament I had to wait around five hours to fight and probably six hours to eat! I lost, but I still got a medal because I came second. On the last day of my field trip, I went to the mall I was supposed to get $20 from my mum but instead, I got $70 before I went to the mall I went to my dads mates house and four months ago I left my pillow there and once I found out we were going there I got up and quickly searched his house for my pillow. After the mall, I went to Time Zone and I saw my aunty and then I went home after the mall.
Today’s Tech
Today I went to Tech and it was so fun because I made steamed buns with Whaea Patty and they were delicious but the saddest thing ever was that I forgot the whole recipe!
But I’m glad that I got to make steamed buns for my last visit because next time I’ll be blogging about weaving.
Stranded
| “Seagulls?” I said, “When there are birds then there is land!” Replied my friend, Maia, we were thrilled, we frantically swam to shore once we got there, more people were arriving out of the blue and we learned that their names were Lucinda, Elijah, Charlotte, and Ace. As Maia mumbled, “So how do you guys know eachother?” Ace quickly responded “We’re siblings!” and after that happened we spent hours trying to look for a cave or a tree to stay in for the night. After looking for four hours straight we finally found a place to stay and we slept like babies.
On day one we started to gather as many sticks and leaves as we can, the sticks were for walls in our new tree house and the leaves were for the roof. And once we got all the correct materials we started to build the walls and then the roof, we found some harakeke -flax- and used it as a string. Countless hours passed and finally, we finished building! We got inside to rest and slept until the very next day. On day two as we woke up to the sound of cracking branches we quickly hurred outside and were shocked to see massive footprints, the footprints went so deep that they were three feet and for some reason, Elijiah started to drool nowhere then out of the blues Ace grabbed Lucinda by the arm and quietly whispered in Charlotte’s ear “we must get food, we will be back in like about 10-20 minutes, Alright but don’t tell them though” And then Charlotte screamed saying that she wanted to go hunting and Ace got mad so we all went hunting after arguing with each other and what we found left everyone shocked it was like a dinosaur but a mammal so Ace grabbed a random branch and when it broke off the tip was really sharp. |
Writing
Last week our teacher said that we will be writing to our future selves and here is mine
| Dear future me.
Hi it’s you, but your 12 year old version of us. Have we finished demon slayer yet? And do we still like anime? I hope we have a good education and a very good job. Today is a bit gloomy but it won’t stop us from running around outside, I have been going to training every mondays and wednesdays and yesterday the professor made us do planks for ages even side planks and right now my legs are killing me. What we love doing right now, Going to stay with Aunty and Uncle. I hope we still love that, hanging out with all of our friends, sleeping and spending as much time with Koro as possible. Also have we ever broken a bone? Are we still Nosey and annoying? Do we keep asking people stupid questions like these questions? Is Poster Boy by Lyn Lapid Still our favourite song? And do we have a good education? I hope we do. Do you remember our 12th birthday?, it was fun but then it got boring. This year we’re gonna be 13. Can you believe it! But we still look 9 and ½ years old according to everyone in our class. Has Mum and Dad gotten Married yet? Oh and how was Aunty Bradys Wedding? |
